Welcome to the Department of Music at Alma College. Alma and all of its departments
combine to make a college of distinction; the music department is no exception.
Alma is a unique place to be with many opportunities. Whether you want to play
bagpipes with our Kiltie Marching
Band, sing in one of our Choirs, or focus on music
technology it is all
possible. So, come check us out and see how much a small liberal arts college
can really offer.
Alma's Department of Music, accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music, offers three degree options:
Bachelor of Music in Performance, Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Music.
